What does Domain Then Host do to combat credit card fraud?

We at DomainThenHost feel that there is no such thing as too much emphasis on personal information safety. Domain Then Host’s  staff and representatives make it a primary focus to ensure that any transaction you make with us is done in the most secure ways possible, utilizing the best IP tracking technology we have at our disposal. Below are a list of protocol we follow:

·         All incoming orders are IP traced back to their root computer. We verify every single order we receive.

·         All orders with IP address coming from irregular/suspicious locations (IP address that comes from certain counties that are questionable) are pre-flagged for fraud and are subject to a 24-48 hold period while we run several fraud checks.

·         We work closely with the local authorities and are subscribed to an international database of known fraudsters and fraudulent IP addresses that are automatically cross checked with all incoming orders.

Furthermore, IP addresses are automatically cross checked with all incoming orders. This means that if someone from an irregular/suspicious location uses your name, credit card and address to purchase a web hosting account, we will know about it immediately and we will not process the order. Even if they try to "spoof" or "cloak" their IP address we can still trace the computer that the order was placed from, back to almost the exact location (Country, Province/State, City, Street) to where the order originated.

We at Domain Then Host want to work with you to ensure that your information is being protected. In order to do this we need you to be vigilant at all times and guard your personal data very carefully as well.

Also, please make sure that when you sign up with Domain Then Host  that you provide us with your correct address and a valid telephone number so we can verify your order(s).
